Hello World! :-)
My name is Martina, I'm 26 and come from Bratislava, Slovakia. I have been travelling since my childhood with my parents who wanted to enjoy their new freedom - freedom to travel. Many people in the West don't realize how is it to live in regime that prohibits you to travel. Since I was 6, my parents were so great, taking me to places like Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Croatia, around Slovakia and more. I have been travelling without them since I turned 15. I did trip to Netherlands with Greenpeace where I volunteered and big tour across Scandinavia at 17. I moved to New York City at age 19 and now I'm back in Bratislava as a business owner and making trips all over the world.
I travel to relax, explore new cultures, meet interesting people and get inspired. The ultimate goal of this blog is to create a community and to practice writing as one of my dreams is to become published author one day :-)
If I don't travel, I read books, do sports, meet friends&family and study (Russian language at the moment :-)
Why do I blog? I want to share my stories and review, connect with people and improve my writing skills :-) It's much better than keeping a journal!
